Arrival at Da Nang international airport, then transfer to Hoi An town. Hoi An is a destination with two faces and offers a good balance of history and leisure for your Vietnam journey. The charming, old- world trading port town features various narrow streets and traditional houses which now host a range of craft shops, and artisans which include some of Asia’s best bespoke tailors.

This morning, you travel from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary which comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. The My Son complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in Southeast Asia. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area.

Back to Hoi An for lunch at one of the finest restaurant in town. Then hop in a local boat to visit Kim Bong carpentry village, about 3 km west of Hoi An.

Of course, the central coast is noted for its pristine beaches, and during this tour you will be based on Cua Dai beach, a long beach which stretches from Danang to Hoi An. Marked by palm-fringed white sands, local seafood restaurants and with views of limestone islands in the distance, Cua Dai is a relaxing beach to spend a few days and indulge in the awesome natural surroundings.

Today you have a close-up and intimate exposure to both the local farming and fishing communities. Accompanied by your tour guide, you commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first hand, discovering all manner of photo opportunities - coming and visiting a beautiful organic vegetable village, watering and planting vegetable, hoeing a soil with local farmer, riding a water buffalo in a rice paddy field; seeing ducks swimming along the rice farm or farmers tending their crops.

Later you will board our boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also experience paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while the waterways of coconut palm paradise. This tour provides you with a cultural window into the ways of life of both our farming and fishing communities.

You will have time at your leisure to wander the streets and discover a side of Hoi An, which in its own right boasts some spectacular traditional arts and crafts on offer.

After your beach break, transfer to airport for your flight home or continue your trip exploring Vietnam.
