Tet festive atmosphere overwhelming Vietnam

Tet atmosphere is overwhelming everywhere on bustling streets, trade centers, supermarkets and gift, and fashion shops, on delighted faces of locals as well as tourists. Flower decorations are now showing on each central road. People are being hurry and rushing to buy specialties for Tet such as Dao (peach), Mai trees, sparkling lights etc.

Tourists also could enter this festive atmosphere to enjoy the Lunar New Year with Vietnamese by joining in the colorful party or celebrations in each corner of Vietnam. To multiply the joy, authorities and heads of entertainment areas are celebrating many animated programs, promising locals and tourists unforgettable meaningful moments of Tet for Vietnamese and foreign people. Firework performances are going to be launched on the first day of Monkey Lunar New Year.

    Hanoi – Hai Phong Highway inaugurated

    The highway project commenced on May 19th 2008, which begins at the Belt Road 3 in the capital city, traverses Hung Yen and Hai Duong provinces, and ends at Dinh Vu port of Hai Phong city with a length of 105.8km and a width of 33m with six lanes. It has an intended speed of 120km per hour.
