Your tour of Hanoi continues with a trip to the remarkable Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university. After breakfast you'll be taken to the harbor and board a junk departure at 07:30 for a magical four-hour cruise around Ha Long Bay, made world famous by James Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies. You'll have the opportunity to explore the picturesque scenery and some 3,000 limestone islands rising vertically from the emerald water. The extraordinary limestone kart formations are full of hidden beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. After a seafood lunch on board, disembark and return to Hanoi, stopping en route at Dong Trieu pottery village, Dong Ho painting and But Thap pagoda before transferring to airport for your flight to Hue – Vietnam’s last feudal capital. In the morning you will be met at hotel to take a short drive to explore the massive Hue citadel built in 1832 followed by Western architecture combining with Eastern citadel containing the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City. This Royal Residence was destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive but with renovating by a great work of local artist will hold you back to know more about Nguyen dynasty.
Trip continue to Minh Mang Mausoleum located on Cam Khe mountain by the tip top of Perfume River, the construction built within 3 years 1840 – 1843 by at 10.000 workers & artists. Minh Mang emperor was the 2nd King under Nguyen Dynasty who was tightening country relationships & change name to Dai Viet for more power and influence in the region and international. Upon leaving Hue you drive south to Hoian, which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down the centuries by traders from various cultures. The scenic road is hugging the coastline before crossing over the winding Hai Van pass. A view from the top of the pass is one of Vietnam’s most impressive panoramic scenes of Lang co Beach. The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional buildings with Chinese and Japanese influence. There’s plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, Pottery Museum, 200 years old Tan Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda and vibrant market. Today we include these on a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past. An early morning transfer to Danang airport for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival you'll guided round of some of the most important attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, beginning with the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the Southern Vietnam President until the end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. You'll also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the best examples of Taoist temples in Vietnam, and the War Remnant Museum. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
After an early breakfast you’ll avoid the city heat to visit the Cuchi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American war. Afterwards, you'll continue to the headquarters of Cao Dai religious sect which is located in Tay Ninh. This religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. It’s an unusual religion with an eclectic mix of different saints from different religions, and has Victor Hugo and Charlie Chaplin as patron saints. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Today you’ll head out of the city for the Mekong Delta. You'll travel by road to Ben Tre province about 1:30 drive, arriving in Ben Tre visit traditional bridge factory, where you board a boat navigating around the small canals in the Mekong Delta, and you'll have the chance to observe the local lifestyles close-up. Pass through the lush green vegetation to an orchard you can observe various fascinating local industries like popcorn making,coconut candy, mattress weaving. There is some free time to relax or further explore Ho Chi Minh on our own before a transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport you’re your departure flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International airport, met and transfer to city centre to start your trip visit Phnom Penh. After breakfast transfer to airport for an hour flight to Siem Reap, greeting on arrival and start our sightseeing to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate, the Bayon Temple, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, over view of Angkor Wat under sun setting from Bakheng Hills, in the evening you will enjoy dinner with Apsara dance. This morning we will visit the largest complex and impressive sand stone art here Angkor Wat. The temple constructed in the 12th century cover an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive structure, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Continue our private tour in Siem Reap we visit incredible Ta Prohm temple settle among of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of mans creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Group will have some time to visit a final site of Siem Reap tours is Les Artisans D' Angkor, home of handicraft center and the Old Market "Phsa Chas" before transfer to airport for flight to Vientiane. On arrival in Vientiane transfer to your hotel, take a short city tour, starting with the thousands of miniature Buddha’s at Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in the city and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo which used to house the Emerald Buddha, now in Bangkok, Thailand. We’ll then take a short ride across the city to see the National symbol of Laos which is the ‘That Luang Stupa ‘and stop at the imposing Patuxay Monument Laos Arch de Triumph a reminder of the French Colonial period. Take a visit to the morning market in Vientiane to pick up a souvenir or just browse, before departing on the drive north to Vang Vieng. You will arrive in Vang Vieng around mid-day and you will have the rest of the day to relax by the Nam Song River. For those feeling energetic why not take a short walk to Tham Jang Cave just one of the local caves in the area where the villagers of Vang Vieng hid out during the bombing of the Indochina Wars.

Today our journey continues north along the mountainous roads North the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Luang Prabang. There will plenty of time to stop along the way, the drive takes about 6 hours and you will arrive Luang Prabang mid-afternoon, transfer to your hotel where you will have plenty of time to freshen up.
Late afternoon to climb Phousi Hill, with its 328 steps, it’s a rewarding walk as once at the summit you’ll have for a fabulous panorama view over the town centre and the mighty Mekong River and beyond. We return to your hotel late afternoon and the evening will be at your leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Luang Prabang is a fascinating historical city with a delightful mix of Buddhist temples and French Colonial buildings. In fact, it is still very much a rural kind of city in comparison to neighboring countries. Our first stop is Wat Visoun which is a replica of an older Temple which was erected in the same place back in 1513, this Wat houses numerous religious art treasures. Next we head to Wat Xieng Thong a royal Wat built on the banks of the Mekong river built in 1559 which has remained relatively undamaged by the various invasions mainly Chinese over the centuries. This temple is decorated extensively with impressive carving, murals and mosaics.
After lunch we’ll visit the Laotian Royal Palace officially known as Haw Kham which was built during the French colonial era for the King and his family. The site was chosen so that official visitors to Luang Prabang could disembark from their river voyages directly by palace and be received there. In 1975, the monarchy was overthrown and the Palace was then converted into a National museum. Today it houses many artifacts which showcase the richness of Laotian culture. We’ll continue on to enjoy the atmosphere at Wat Mai built in 1796 and sits at the foot of Mount Phousi. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
For those early risers you have a fantastic opportunity to take part in the daily morning ritual of Alms giving to the saffron-clad monks who walk along in single file collecting offerings, normally food. This is a unique tradition throughout Laos and the monks are fully supported by the local residents. After breakfast, we’ll take you on an amazing long tail boat journey along the Nam-Ou & Mekong River, through the beautiful Laotian countryside all the way to Luang Prabang, passing by the local villages and seeing the real everyday life of the villagers going about their chores including fishing, trading & washing along the rivers on our 5 hour journey. We’ll stop on the way to see the fascinating Pak Ou cave, which in fact are a cave system of two interlinked caves, crammed full of Buddha statues left behind by pilgrims over generations and then we’ll observe the traditional process of rice wine distillation in Ban Sanghai, after lunch spend the afternoon at Khuang Si Waterfall set in a delightful jungle setting relax by the waterfall or have a swim in one of its turquoise pools.
